Getting it done: the permanent accommodation site
Creating a water feature
The permanent accommodation programme
The Nardy House Committee’s plans for our permanent accommodation facility for six people with profound disabilities have been approved by Bega Valley Shire Council. The local firm of Caddey, Searl & Jarman pegged out the new building site prior to Christmas and construction will begin shortly. This stage of the project is the main aim of the Committee and so we are looking forward to its commencement. We will be undertaking a major fundraising effort and have been helped substantially by the Bermagui Lions and zone Lions Clubs who secured a $50 000 (US) grant for us from Lions International.
A promotional package is being put together and we are hoping to interest the business community in our work
