Over the past few months Nathan Johnston has been going around various venues in the Bega Valley Shire checking establishments for disability friendliness i.e. access, disability toilets and general access to cafes and restaurants. One of these was the Candelo General Store Cafe where the access was good, some tables were a bit low but in general disability friendly with helpful and pleasant staff – the venue has music from time to time and they do a very good hot chocolate. Nathan will continue to investigate venues in the coming months.
