Brendan Hackett (see our Facebook page) is a regular at Nardy House Respite. His relationship with artist, John Gosch of Cobargo, has resulted in unique pieces. The sculpture above is in the grounds of Nardy House. The sculpture moves very gently in its space in the garden and is a really welcome addition.
Our gardens have a way to go in their development. We will be building sensory gardens on the site as well as continuing the sustainable vegetable garden ( a project undertaken by Transition Towns and Permablitz). This garden already supplies some of the household needs, our envirocycle waters the flower garden and the electricity feedback system supplied by Pyramid Power adds to our sustainable credentials.
Brendan’s friendship with John and the development of their creative partnership is described on the Respite page.
