Respite

Set on five acres in rural Quaama in the Bega Valley, Nardy House respite is a spacious three-bedroom house accommodating up to six people with wheelchair access. Each bedroom is equipped with transfer hoists, ensuite and a private deck with stunning views. All meals are all home-cooked using vegetables from the Nardy House garden where possible. A Registered Nurse is on duty 24 hours supporting a group of qualified dedicated staff.

Our specialised centre-based respite facility caters for people with profound physical disabilities and gives their carers a proper break from their care responsibilities.

The facility operates 24/7 for planned and crisis respite.

Mitzi Hyland is our nurse unit manager/service coordinator. NHI also has registered nurses who will care for your family members needs during respite at Nardy House.
