Last week participants at Nardy House enjoyed some time in the sunshine whilst engaging in floral art activities. The floral items were collected by participants who enjoyed the sensory stimulation of touch, sight and smell. They were then used to create their wonderful masterpieces.

Celebrating Naidoc week

Participants enjoyed celebrating Naidoc Week this week by painting Aboriginal Flags, watching documentaries and engaging in Aboriginal themed musical activities. The name ‘Nardy” was given to the NH inc. Committee by the local Koori community and means beautiful flower.

Pizza on point!

On Friday participants had a lot of fun making their own pizzas and even more fun eating them! We can’t wait to see what they will cook next!

Delightful Dalmeny

On Thursday 27th June 2024, participants and staff travelled to Dalmeny for fish and chips by the ocean and a stroll in the sunshine. How lucky are we to have this beautiful place so close to our home?!

Music at Nardy House

‘Jamming with Jess’ is the new music program that commenced last week at Nardy House. This was observed to be a hit amongst the participants, all of whom actively engaged with the fun entertainment. We can’t wait to hear what next week has installed!
