This supports Nicholas’ sensory needs and helps him to process and make sense of his world. Through rolling a ball on his back, we are stimulating his cognitive pathways and turning on the proprioceptive part of his brain. This helps to ground his nervous system, keeping him calm and focused.
Nicholas and Renee enjoyed a day trip to Narooma last week, making the most of the beautiful winter sunshine at Bar Beach lookout. With clear blue skies and breathtaking views across the inlet, they relaxed by the water, enjoyed the fresh sea air, and searched for the popular local seals that call the area home
