Cassy Sweeny
Having grown up in the local area and selling raffle tickets at the pub to fundraise for Nardy House it is amazing to see how far the dream has come. Cassy has been employed as a Care Service Worker for the last four years. After moving back from Queensland with her children, Cassy was looking for a rewarding career change that allowed time with her family.
Cassy had her Certificate IV TAE and has also successfully completed her Certificate IV Disability during her employment. Cassy is a competent bus driver and training to be a Team Leader upon her return from Maternity Leave. Cassy actively trains new staff and likes to be involved in any up skill opportunities. While being at Nardy House Cassy has enjoyed learning all the wonderful participants and attending to each of their individual needs. Getting to know and establish a bond with each participant and their families.
Getting out and about within the community is a passion of Cassy’s. To observe the participant’s enjoyment and also the reactions of the outer community brings enjoyment. The future growth and plans for Nardy House is exciting, especially the pool.
Cassy can’t wait to be a part of it.
